Relentless Irish Downhill series, final round this weekend, Yellow Water!

The final round of the Relentless Irish Downhill Series is being held in Yellow water just outside Rostrevor in Northern Ireland, this weekend!

Yellow Water is the training ground for World Cup rider Ben Reid, so the course should offer plenty for the experienced rider, 021racing will be making the long trip north in the search of podiums and hopefully some overall titles!

Uplift weekend in Corrin Woods, Fermoy, 1,2 Oct!

There is an uplift weekend happening in Corrin Woods, Fermoy, Co. Cork on Saturday and Sunday the 1st and 2nd of October!

Uplifts will run from 10am to 4pm each day, at a cost of €20 per day.  Denis Corkery will be providing his usual excellent uplift service, so your bike won’t get destroyed!

There are plenty of fun and technical trails to choose from and will suit everyone from beginners to experts.

Registration will open at 9am.

Great Results for 021racing at the 2011 Red Bull Blast!

The famous Mass Descent race known as the BLAST, took place last weekend in Co. Wicklow.  The event was sponsored by Red Bull who added it as one of their international events and had one of their best MTB Athletes in the world Gee Atherton competing in the event, Gee won the 2010 Downhill World Cup!

Gee was joined by his brother Dan who is also World Cup winner himself and their task was to take on over 300 Irish mountain bikers!

The Blast was won by former Olympic XC mountain biker Robin Seymour, 021racing’s Greg Callaghan couldn’t repeat his 2010 victory, finished a fantastic 5th place, just beating Gee Atherton into 6th and 021racings Rob Davis put in a great run to take 8th place!

Well done lads!

Next stop for 021racing is the final round of the Irish Downhill Series in Yellowater, Northern Ireland in two weeks.
